As a continuously growing trend in the security and access control space, biometrics is among the strongest form of user credentials. Biometrics use unique biological characteristics or measurements to validate and confirm a users identity and within access control, the permissions and credentials to enter a designated space. It is a stronger, more secure version of access control than traditional keycards and pin codes, which can be stolen or shared with unauthorized users.

LVS partnered with NTT DATA’s security consultant, Active Security Consulting, Inc., on the overall installation of the data center’s access control and video surveillance solutions.

Low Voltage Solutions, Inc. assisted in the design and installation of the low voltage systems at Rod Baker Ford’s new dealership in Plainfield, IL. LVS completed the structured cabling infrastructure, video surveillance, intrusion, access control, paging and background music systems.

LVS is now Value-Added-Reseller (VAR) of LenelS2’s OnGuard access control security solution! After securing the brand’s NetBox solution back in October, our security division is looking forward to offering both solutions to our range of customers.
