Project Highlight: Peoples Gas Central Shop
Project Overview:
Construction of the new 2-story, 75,560-square-foot Peoples Gas Central Shop Field Service Center at 4207 W. 35th Place was completed in early 2020. Peoples Gas developed this and other brownfield sites within a former industrial parking lot. The Central Shop facility will complement the company’s existing Peoples Energy Training Center to the north and its soon-to-be-completed Logistics Support facility to the west. Located west of the intersection of 35th Place and Pulaski, the property was chosen due to its proximity to Peoples Gas customers to improve response times for service calls and emergencies.
LVS Scope:
LVS completed a design-build for the MDF & IDF closets
LVS completed the structured cabling for the security systems
LVS completed a design assist on the Wireless Access Points
