Lynx Broadband is a technology bridge from existing network infrastructures to Internet TV and Internet Protocol Television (IPTV). At its simplest level, the product takes a Comcast signal and splits it out over multiple signals, which allows great flexibility on the install, design and future expansion of a system. The hubs and end converters use high frequency baluns, electrical devices that convert between balanced and unbalanced signals, to deliver frequencies up to 860 MHz without using network bandwidth.
The result is digital, analog, and high definition television using existing Cat 5/6 cable. Reliability is flawless with no need for taps, splitters or coax cable between the wiring closet and the TV. Also, the product increases flexibility for moves, adds and changes.
